Liver transplant is a recommended treatment for people who suffer from end-stage chronic liver disease (ESLD), (cirrhosis) or liver cancer (Hepatocellular Carcinoma). Many patients struggle to find a suitable donor in time, which is why increasing awareness and encouraging voluntary organ donations can be lifesaving.
